Taste of South Grand

Taste of South Grand will take place on June 2nd from 5 – 10 pm. Participating restaurants include Absolutli Goosed, Al Waha, Basil Spice, Cafe Mochi, Cafe Natasha, City Diner, King & I, Gelateria Del Leone, Lemmon Grass, Mangia Italiano, Mekong, Mojo’s Tapas, Mokabes, Meskerem, Petra Cafe, St. Louis National Pizza Company, Sekisui, The Vine Cafe, Urban and Wei Hong BBQ & Bakery. Cost is $25 in advance and $27 on the day of the Event.
The International Dine Around Menu Includes:
Appetizers:
* Basil Spice: Choice of summer rolls or Tao Hoo Tod
* Meskerem: Lentil Sambusa
* Cafe Mochi: Phoeni Roll-grilled chicken, avocado, spring mix, topped with teriyaki sauce
* Lemongrass: Choice of egg rolls, crab rangoon, or wanton soup
* Sekisui: Vegetable tempura
* Mojo Tapas: Crab cakes with mustard mango mojo
Entrees:
* City Diner: Bacon wrapped filet with creamy polenta, sauteed fresh spinanch & a balsamic burgundy reduction
* St. Louis National Pizza Co.: One slice of any pizza style with two toppings
* Mangia Italiano: Spinach manicotti, porcini tagliatelle, or duck ravioli
* Cafe Natasha’s Kabob International: Falafel or gyro sandwich
* King and I: Pad Tai chicken or tofu
* Al Waha: Al Waha plate ground beef with pomegranate sauce served over rice with raisins, almonds, and dried apricot
Desserts:
* Gelateria del Leone: Small gelato (up to two flavors in cup or cone)
* Wei Hong BBQ & Bakery: Two homemade almond cookies
* The Vine Cafe: Baklava
Drinks:
* Mokabe’s: Caffeinated or decaf latte from their extensive latte menu
* Urban Demure: Freshly muddled strawberry with stoli strawberry vodka, sour mix and a slash of balsamic vinegar
* Absolutli Goosed: Raspberry mocha martini
* Petra Cafe: Sake named the hookah contains rasberry sake, hypnotic liquor and swedish fish
* Mekong/Barbarella: Saki sangria
